The 2023 Mazda CX-50 is made here in the United States at the Mazda Toyota Manufacturing facility in Huntsville, Alabama.

The new CX-50 is a crossover SUV wonderfully built for drivers wanting an SUV that was crafted with adventure in mind. Mazda has created a crossover meant to let you become one with any terrain. Mazda has included their Mazda Intelligent Drive technology, Mi-Drive, that gives the CX-50 the smarts to be responsive and adjust to the terrain using 4 different drive modes Normal Mode, Sport Mode, Off-Road Mode, and Available Towing Mode. The CX-50 when properly equipped with the correct trailer hitch and harness can tow up to 3,500 pounds.

There are 9 trim levels to choose from, they are S, S Select, S Prefered, S Preferred Plus, S Premium, S Premium Plus, Turbo, Turbo Premium, and Turbo Premium Plus. The 2023 CX-50 is powered by a SKYACTIV-G 2.5 DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine that produces 187 horsepower and 189 lb-ft of torque with all-wheel drive. The Turbo trims have a SKYACTIV-G 2.5-liter engine with Twin-scroll Turbo and i-Stop. This turbocharged engine raises the CX-50’s horsepower to 227 and raises torque to 310 lb-ft. All trim levels have 6-speed automatic transmissions with manual shift mode and i-active all-wheel drive.
