There are few things better during cool fall evenings then sitting around a blazing campfire, roasting smores, listening to music, and just settling in for a relaxing evening with friends and family. Campfire Games
- Where in the world is our family – The purpose of this game is to correctly guess the location that is being hinted at. One person gives out three clues of a place in the world where the family has visited. Other family members have to correctly guess the location based on the clues. The person that correctly guesses wins.
- Add to the story – This game involves one person starting with a short story. The next person will add upon it, and so on and so forth. Some really funny stories arise from this game.
- That makes me think of … – This is an excellent game to play with your kids. It allows you to see what they’re thinking about. The game starts with someone saying a word. Someone else then needs to blurt out what that word makes them think of.
- Alphabet lists – This is a great game to help young children learn the alphabet. All you do is pick a theme and go through the alphabet naming figures or anything related to that theme in alphabetical order.
- I spy – If there is still some light outside, then this game is a perfect way to wind down the day. One person says “I spy something (insert word).” Others try to guess what the person is spying based upon what is around. The person who guesses first goes next.
